There are options for everyone, what they all have in common is they are located by the sea. From April to November the bars offer us good moments of relaxation, leisure and fun on the beach, it is one of the reasons why the summer in Barcelona is so nice.

In most beach bars the food is more casual than what you’ll find in a restaurant, tapas, sandwiches, elaborated salads, although there are some that ultimately make dishes that have nothing to envy. The price is not cheap, it is a bit more expensive than in the center of the city but it really worth because their locations are unique.

Most are equipped with deck chairs and umbrellas for you to spend a day in a unique setting, in a relaxed atmosphere with good music.

Beach bar La Guingueta of Barceloneta

The reputable chefs Carles Abellán and Jordi Escribà have achieved with confidence in this beach bar a gastronomic offer of quality in an environment of warmth and good taste. You can taste tapas, original sandwiches and imposing salads and all this at affordable prices.

For breakfast you can choose from fresh juices, fresh fruit of the day, or a good croissant to enjoy with a coffee with milk.

To eat: A good ham, omelette, shrimp with young garlics and many more dishes.

Beach bar La Guingueta de Escriba

On a beautiful beach there is the beach bar belonging to the same restaurant owner Escriba, it is one of the most maintained and beautiful beach of Barcelona. Its decoration is maintained to the maximum and the details with clients also, in spring and autumn when the wind turns around it provides them with a blanket so that they can be covered if they are a little bit cold. The food is of quality and its fresh fruit juices are delicious. Its specialty is paella but you can also find a varied cuisine to suit all tastes.

For breakfast we recommend the sandwiches of ham, they serve them warm and are delicious. Also omelette with bread and tomato and a salad is also a good choice.

To eat, paella is its specialty, mussels are also very good like most of the dishes they serve. We must highlight the Rocambolesc ice cream.

Beach bar Salt Beach Club

This beach bar is the most exclusive of Barcelona, it attracts many beautiful people, but it is also the most expensive even though its location is really worth a visit. The environment is ideal for a drink or a cocktail, in the evening few places can delight the good view of the entire Barcelona coastline.

Elegant and classy, the highlights of the Salt Beach Club are combined cocktails like the Martini Salt, the Green Lady, the Modern Mojito and Sao Paolo Sip. They now have four new combined Salt Spritz, SummerSun, Little Italy, Mad Orange and Watermelon Spritz.

Beach bar Vai moana

It is a young surfer beach bar atmosphere, it is tastefully decorated and it is surrounded by small palm trees giving a very nice touch that reminds exotic South Seas. In the same beach bar you can rent chairs and umbrellas where you can enjoy a good cocktail in a unique setting, if you come at night you can enjoy a pleasant evening with the swell.

It is well appreciated at noon especially by the families because it offers a special menu dedicated to children, they also make menu for groups. It offers free Wifi for customers.

This beach bar is located in the beautiful beach of Bogatell, in the PobleNou district, we recommend you to come to this area as it well worth a visit, in five minutes you will reach the Rambla de PobleNou full of atmosphere, shops and neighborhood people .

Beach bar Blue

It is the gastronomic beach bar of the Pantea group located on the beach of the Barceloneta, its decoration is based in a marine environment without forgetting the urbanite, cosmopolitan side of Barcelona, its staff is especially friendly and attentive.

It includes spaces adapted to the smallest as changers, also free Wi-Fi service for customers and sporting events broadcast on the terrace, which is very nice.

For breakfast they offer a warm flute with ham, bacon, mozzarella with tomato and more …

As a tapa some bravas potatoes or bellota ham are good choices and for dessert you can choose between a Rocher fondant and mango coulis or a Bulgarian yogurt with blueberries among others.

This beach bar is located in the Llevant beach, near the Forum and it is inspired by the FengShui art. Decorated in white and light colors it makes of this place a haven of peace and tranquility in front of the sea.

Here you may find the typical summer tapas as anchovies, olives, wild, etc ..but you can also enjoy elaborated salads and a good ham with bread and tomato as well as many more dishes.

They provide rental services of deckchairs, parasols and they have free internet access.

This beach bar is one of the furthest from the center, but walking along the coast you will get to it without realizing it.
