The Catalonian Art Nouveau or Jugendstil movement was called in the region Modernisme Català. The style was present in all art works done in the late 18th century and the beginning of the past one. It was most prominent in the field of architecture, being worldwide known the works done by Antoni Gaudi i Cornet.
