We recommend you if you are driving to Barcelona that the best option is to leave the car in a parking during your whole stay unless you have to scroll to areas outside the city.

If you decide to use the car you have to know that it is almost impossible to park on the streets of Barcelona, the blue zone only admits a limited parking time (2 hours) and there are not many places available, the green area is for residents of the neighborhood and the only viable option is to park your car in a parking but the prices are not cheap and you will have no problem to find a parking as they are many of them scattered in almost every neighborhoods.
